Canadian singer/songwriter Riley Armstrong made his debut in the Christian market in 2000 as the flagship artist for Audio Adrenaline's own label Flicker Records. After two albums on Flicker, Armstrong continued making music on 7 Spin Music and then independently, and in recent years could be found mixing comedy in with his music in concert. Riley's latest project is called I Live Dangerous and he decided to mix two of his favorite things: pancakes and music to launch the IndieGoGo campaign "Dangerous Pancakes for Dangerous Music." (In which incentives include pancake mix with his face on the box or his own switchblade spatula.)

MY STORY TO HERE
I have always loved to write music. My first song recorded to cassette was me singing about my mom's cooking while plucking away on a giant comb our neighbors had brought me home from Reno. For many years I wrote serious songs about faith, life and love. And then one day a few years back after many twists and turns in my career in music I realized that the fun songs I had written along the way were the songs that I enjoyed to perform the most, and it seemed that people connected with the most. It struck me just how much I loved to make people laugh. And that laughter always created a path to friendship and some pretty fantastic moments.

So here I am writing crazy comedy songs in my spare time hoping and dreaming that I could put them together as an album launching me out there officially in to the world as a music comic.

I chose Indiegogo as a platform for this campaign because of how easy it is to use for the donor. I have given through this site before, most recently to the City Harmonic with their City Bus campaign and I felt very confident that it would be a safe and easy way for my friends to donate.
